Like Isabella the first’s reign itself, the dress is a story of two sides: from the front a classic silhouette with bodice, skirt and hand smocked frill collar, contrasting dramatically with the show stopping view from the back, where the deep plunging V-shape is framed and magnified by the tapered smocked collar hand stitched with red and white, sash tie and tiny buttons. Our girl's fit is “Classic British” meaning dresses are designed to hit just below the knee. At the beginning of the age range dresses will reach to mid calf; at the upper end of the range they will hit above the knee.
Due the way our hand smocked pieces are pleated and sewn, our clothes offer a very versatile fit - there is natural stretch in all hand pleated smocks. For this reason we offer fewer, bridge sizes. This means more room for growth and less waste.
Standard UK delivery is free for orders over £100. For orders under £100 delivery is £4.95 (Standard delivery) and £9.50 for Express delivery.
We deliver internationally and shipping for most countries is calculated automatically at the checkout. If you cannot checkout your order online please email us for an International Shipping quote.
We offer delivery to the USA with either a postal service (approx 10 days) or a faster courier service with DHL (approx 5 days). Delivery to the USA is FREE for orders over $250.
Deliveries to the EU are shipped duties and taxes included with DHL and there will be no additional charges incurred by the customer upon import or delivery.
All overseas orders outside the UK and EU are shipped duties unpaid, and may be subject to VAT, customs taxes and duties. This cost is the responsibility of the customer and is payable on receipt of goods. Please check your local customs tax and duty costs as duties must be paid before the goods are released.
